FMIPA UGM holds a Socialization on Creative Innovation Grants for the Fiscal Year 2024 for Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UGM staff on Friday, 8th March 2024, at the Auditorium, 7th floor, FMIPA UGM. These Creative Innovation Grants are a routine program of the faculty aimed at providing support for educational staff to innovate in service improvement focusing on information technology and human resource effectiveness. The socialization begins with the launch of the educational staff creative innovation grants by the Vice Dean for Research and Community Service Affairs at FMIPA UGM.

“This is one of FMIPA UGM’s missions to transform in line with current digital technology developments, so we want routine tasks to be automated, and we hope for input from all of you because you understand the business processes,” says Dr.rer.nat. Wiwit Suryanto, B.Sc., M.Sc., Vice Dean for Research and Community Service Affairs at FMIPA UGM. The grant competition is open to all educational staff within FMIPA UGM, with funding ranging from Rp. 5 million to Rp. 20 million for each grant proposal.
“What FMIPA needs is digital transformation; we shouldn’t keep doing routine tasks continuously, so propose to make them systematic,” says Prof. Kuwat Triyana, Dean of FMIPA UGM. The socialization also includes presentations from three representatives of the 2023 Educational Staff Creative Innovation Grant recipients:
- Alvin Yovi Dwi Putra with the proposal title “EFFECTIVE, EFFICIENT, AND INTEGRATED ROOM BORROWING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM”.
- David Julian Nggebu, S.E., with the proposal title “Procedure and Inventory Management System Governance Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UGM”, and
- Suswiyanti Rahayu, A.Md., with the proposal title “YUDISIUM INFORMATION SYSTEM AT THE FACULTY OF MATHEMATICS AND NATURAL SCIENCES, UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA”.

Deans and Vice Deans within FMIPA provide an open forum for all educational staff at FMIPA interested in consulting on their creative ideas. The educational staff at FMIPA UGM interested in applying for grant proposals can access further information and guidance through the grant system.

Through such activities, educational staff are expected to innovate with information technology in more effective and efficient service at FMIPA, reflecting SDGs number 9 through the quality of human resources in the field of technology.
