Pionir Pascal 2026 Introduces Student Associations and Study Programs to New Students, Providing Insights into University Life

As part of the Pionir Pascal 2026 program, new students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) participated in an introductory session on student associations and study programs. The session was held in classrooms assigned by the organizing committee, allowing new students to gather with peers from the same study program.

The student association introduction sessions were led by the respective heads of the eight student associations representing the study programs at FMIPA UGM. Executive board members and other association members also attended and assisted throughout the activities. During the sessions, new students were introduced to the vision, mission, and organizational structure of each student association. Representatives also presented ongoing and upcoming programs, giving new students an overview of the activities organized by their respective associations.

Following the student association sessions, the program continued with introductions to the respective study programs, led by representatives from each program. The session provided new students with an introduction to the academic environment they would experience, covering topics ranging from the courses they would take to potential career opportunities after completing their studies.

The student association and study program introduction sessions held as part of Pionir Pascal 2026 reflect FMIPA UGM’s support for Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education by helping new students gain a better understanding of their chosen study programs.
