Physics Master Program

MASTER IN PHYSICS

 

The Masters in Physics Study Program at Universitas Gadjah Mada University was officially established in 1993. Since its establishment until now the UGM Physics Master Program has always received A accreditation from the Indonesia National Accreditation Board of Higher Education. This program is one of the first several Physics Masters programs in Indonesia. The UGM Physics Master Program offers Masters level education in the field of Physics with many options of specialties. Studying the smallest and most basic things such as the study of Particle Physics, to macro objects such as Earth Physics, to very large ones such as Cosmology. Currently the UGM Physics Master Program has 37 qualified lecturers who were Doctorate graduates from well-known universities, with expertise in various fields of Physics, grouped in four groups of expertise:

Theoretical and Computational Physics, Functional Material Physics, Applied Physics, and Geoscience.

Graduates of the UGM Physics Master program will obtain a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Physics. In the last five years the average number of graduates is above 50 students per year and the number of active students per year is around 100 students. Until 2018 UGM Physics Master Program has produced more than 1000 graduates. Most of the graduates have career in academics as lecturers in state and private universities, or become teachers at secondary education, while others become researchers in various government-owned research institutions or become experts in government institution or national private companies. Some of them become entrepreneurs based on science-technology.

In order to improve the quality of education, the UGM Physics Master Program offers students the opportunity to take part in the Double Degree program. The Dual Degree program currently underway is with the Department of Medicine and Computational Science, Kanazawa University. This year the Dual Degree program will also begin with the Department of Physics, National Central University, Taiwan, and with the Department of Applied Physics at Tunghai University, Taiwan. In addition to the Dual Degree program, students also get various opportunities to conduct Student Exchange programs or Short Course programs in several Foreign Universities, including in Japan, Taiwan, and France.

The UGM Physics Master Program can be completed normally in four semesters (two years) by completing 40 credits including 8 thesis credits and 11 credits in compulsory subjects. But for students who have more capabilities, the 40 credits can also be completed within two semesters. The following is a list of subjects in the UGM Physics Master program.

Acceptance of new students in the UGM Physics Master program is conducted in both semesters, odd semester (August – January) and even semester (February – July). The UGM Physics Master Program can accept students with previous educational backgrounds from Bachelor of Physics and Physics Education.  The program also accept prospective students with a Bachelor’s educational background from fields close to physics such as from Geophysics, Astronomy, Engineering Physics, Instrumentation Electronics and other branches of engineering or science. Chemistry Master Program

MASTER OF CHEMISTRY

 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The Master of Chemistry Study Program is an academic-oriented education that was established in 1981. Graduates of the Chemistry Masters program receive the M.Sc. (Master of Science) degree. Academic activities in the Chemistry Masters Study Program, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UGM, are focused on increasing mastery of chemistry, both theoretical and experimental based on 5 study interests. Academically, in 1981-1985 the Study Program managed one study interest, namely the chemical studies interests. With the development of internal capabilities (human resources, facilities and infrastructure) and the increasing number of prospective students interested in attending more specific education and labor market demands, the type of study interest in this study program develops into five study interests, namely: Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Environmental Chemistry. The five study interests give variety and specificity to the Thesis outcomes and the competencies of the Chemistry Masters Program graduates. The goal of learning outcomes in the Chemistry Masters Study Program is to provide opportunities for students to have competence in terms of knowledge, understanding, and skills in the field of chemistry at the Masters level, as well as the quality and other required attributes.

 

EXCELLENCE AND UNIQUENESS

The featured academic programs in Chemistry Masters Program include:

  • Green Chemistry Character-based Curriculum Model

The Chemistry Masters Study Program organizes graduate character traits, having knowledgeability, capability, and academic skills based on Green Chemistry or Chemical Sustainability. The character-forming courses include compulsory subject, namely Sustainability in Chemistry, and elective courses (Environmental Biogeochemistry, Industrial and Environmental Analysis, Environmental Management Systems, Environmental Chemodynamics, Chemical Toxicology and Chemical Aspects in Ecology).

 

Student soft-skills are also enriched through Academic English and Advanced Research Methodology courses that provide academic provision as graduates with excellent communication character in English as well as having in-depth research insights. Pedagogical insights are also provided through the Cognitive Development Psychology course from the Faculty of Psychology UGM.

 

  • Academic Program with International Exposure

Through collaboration with the Hokkaido University, Japan since 2010, the UGM Master of Chemistry Study Program actively provides opportunities for students to conduct research and lectures at Hokkaido University through the PARE (Populations-Activities-Resources-Environments) program in a short-term or long-term visit. Each year, the Master of Chemistry Study Program also hosts the implementation of Learning Satellite with Hokkaido University with a focus on exploration of water environment field studies. The program involves Hokkaido University and UGM students.

 

The UGM Master of Chemistry Study Program is hosting the 2019 PARE Spring School as a consequence of being a part of the PARE consortium. For 2 weeks, UGM Chemistry Masters students and Postgraduate students from Hokkaido University, ITB, IPB, Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Mahidol University, and Kasetsart University carry out lectures, field practice, and presentation examinations from a series of activities while being in the field (https://pare.oia.hokudai.ac.jp/en/springschool_2019).

 

The pioneering partnership (2019) with Hiroshima University through the Japan Sakura Program offers a 10-day international exposure (lectures and mini-research) for UGM Master of Chemistry students.

 

  • International-Class Research

The UGM Master of Chemistry Study Program has been equipped with a Research Laboratory located on the 1st Floor of the UGM Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Magister and Doctorate (S2/S3) Building which is equipped with standard preparation and synthesis tools, ovens, furnaces, shakers, analytical balance, and UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Research facilities at the Department of Chemistry located in the Laboratory of Interest (Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry) can also be used by all UGM Chemistry Magister students.

 

The Department of Chemistry is also equipped with microscope (TEM) and diffraction (XRD) facilities for the purposes of sophisticated material analysis. Access to sophisticated preparation instruments (electro-spinning and spin-coater machines) and up-to-date characterization instruments (SEM, fluorescence spectroscopy, NMR, TG / DTA, NMR 500 MHz) are also available through UGM integrated laboratory facilities (LPPT, PAU Food and Nutrition, etc.). These facilities enable international class research. The ongoing WCP-A and WCP-B programs, obtained by a number of Lecturer staff, encourage collaboration for international-class research publications in reputable Q1 and Q2 international journals.

 

COMPETENCE

The learning outcomes of the program (PLO) study consist of four objectives, namely (1) Attitudes and Values, (2) Knowledge Mastery, (3) Work Ability, and (4) Managerial Ability.

Graduates of the Chemistry Masters Program can work, among others, as:

  1. Lecturers/Educators in the field of Chemistry, at the highest level of Bachelor (S-1) study programs in Higher Education
  2. Researchers in the field of Chemistry in research institutions or Research and Development in Industries
  3. Product designers and consultants in the field of chemistry, specifically in environmental chemistry
  4. Quality Control Managers in the industries
  5. Waste Management Managers in the industries
  6. Environmental Consultants

 

CURRICULUM

In achieving the vision and mission of the Chemistry Study Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UGM, academic activities are focused on increasing the mastery of chemistry, both theoretical and experimental. The UGM Chemistry Masters Program, according to 2017 curriculum can be completed in 3 to 4 semesters, assuming, research/final project is carried out in 1 to 2 semesters. The minimum number of credits to be completed is 42 credits, a maximum of 50 credits, with a minimum cumulative achievement index (GPA) of 3.00; including 20 credits of compulsory courses, 8 to 14 credits of suggested elective courses related to study interest skills and completing a minimum of 8 credits and a maximum of 22 credits of elective expertise courses. Elective courses can be taken partly or entirely from elective courses provided in related Study Interests, plus a maximum of 6 credits taken from other Study Interests within the Chemistry Study program.

The Bachelor Program of Electronics and Instrumentation (PS Elins) is a study program in the Department of Computer Science and Electronics at FMIPA-UGM. PS Elins produces undergraduates who are intellectual, hold proper morals, competent and possess knowledge in science and technology in the fields of electronics, instrumentation, and computer systems.

The Undergraduate Program in Computer Science (UP-CS) was established in 1987. The UP-CS commits to provide students with education of the highest possible quality. The program offers overseas as well as Indonesian students the opportunity to study and obtain their bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with international standard and excellent curriculum.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Statistics Study Program (PS Statistics) was established in 1987 and is an educational institution that organizes undergraduate education.

PS Statistics has a vision in line with UGM’s vision of making PS Statistics nationally superior and known at the international level and creating graduates who are competent and full of service to the interests of the nation. To accomplish the vision above, PS Statistics has a mission which is essentially to carry out the tri dharma of higher education with a professional management system, credible, transparent, accountable and responsible governance, and to make efforts for the sustainability of PS Statistics through cooperation in the fields of education, statistical science, applied research, community service and partnerships at the local, national and international levels.

  • Some PS Statistics courses are able to be used to obtain PAI level ASAI (Associate of Society of Actuaries of Indonesia) certification

Mathematics Undergraduate Program

Brief information of the Undergraduate Programme of Mathematics

 

The Undergraduate Programme of Mathematics at Universitas Gadjah Mada (in short: UP-Math) was officially established based on the letter of decision of Ministry of Education and Culture Republic Indonesia No. 53759/Kab, 19 September 1955, as the first programme at The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (in short: FMNS). The UP-Math is in the coordination of the Department of Mathematics. The department has three undergraduate study programmes (Mathematics Study Programme, Statistics Study Programme, and Actuarial Science Study Programme), one master programme in Mathematics, and one doctoral programme in Mathematics. There are six research groups (Laboratoriums) at the department: Algebra, Analysis, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Computation, Statistics, and Statistics Computation.

 

In running the programme, the UP-Math has formulated the programme objectives, the Expected Learning Outcomes (the ELOs), the curriculum, and the method of assessment to evaluate the achievement of the ELOs. The formulation has referred to Regulation of Ministry of Education and Cultures Republic of Indonesia no. 44/2015 on Higher Education National Standard, the recommendation by CUPM, IndoMS, the SIAM Report on Mathematics in Industry 2012, Decree of the Ministry of National Education No. 232/U/2000 and 045/U/2002, the suggestions given by alumni and stakeholders, the benchmarking results from some undergraduate programmes in mathematics universities abroad and some undergraduate programmes of Indonesian universities, national accreditation of higher education (BAN PT) document, AUN document, and ASIIN (Accreditation Board in Europe) document.

 

The existing curriculum is Curriculum 2016. It is designed for 8 semesters. To complete the programme, students have to pass at least 144 credits with minimal GPA 2.00 and the maximal total number of credits with grade D is 25%. Undergraduate Program in Geophysics

 

Brief Description

Geophysics Study Program (PSG) that was established since 1985 (after previously a preferential study path in Physics Study Program in 1974), is one of the study programs that prepares bachelor study graduates in the field of geology.

 

Excellence and Distinctions

  • PSG has consecutively obtained “A” BANPT accreditation and recently for the academic period of 2019-2024.

Physics Master Program

MASTER IN PHYSICS

 

The Masters in Physics Study Program at Universitas Gadjah Mada University was officially established in 1993. Since its establishment until now the UGM Physics Master Program has always received A accreditation from the Indonesia National Accreditation Board of Higher Education. This program is one of the first several Physics Masters programs in Indonesia. The UGM Physics Master Program offers Masters level education in the field of Physics with many options of specialties. Studying the smallest and most basic things such as the study of Particle Physics, to macro objects such as Earth Physics, to very large ones such as Cosmology. Currently the UGM Physics Master Program has 37 qualified lecturers who were Doctorate graduates from well-known universities, with expertise in various fields of Physics, grouped in four groups of expertise:

Theoretical and Computational Physics, Functional Material Physics, Applied Physics, and Geoscience.

Graduates of the UGM Physics Master program will obtain a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Physics. In the last five years the average number of graduates is above 50 students per year and the number of active students per year is around 100 students. Until 2018 UGM Physics Master Program has produced more than 1000 graduates. Most of the graduates have career in academics as lecturers in state and private universities, or become teachers at secondary education, while others become researchers in various government-owned research institutions or become experts in government institution or national private companies. Some of them become entrepreneurs based on science-technology.

In order to improve the quality of education, the UGM Physics Master Program offers students the opportunity to take part in the Double Degree program. The Dual Degree program currently underway is with the Department of Medicine and Computational Science, Kanazawa University. This year the Dual Degree program will also begin with the Department of Physics, National Central University, Taiwan, and with the Department of Applied Physics at Tunghai University, Taiwan. In addition to the Dual Degree program, students also get various opportunities to conduct Student Exchange programs or Short Course programs in several Foreign Universities, including in Japan, Taiwan, and France.

The UGM Physics Master Program can be completed normally in four semesters (two years) by completing 40 credits including 8 thesis credits and 11 credits in compulsory subjects. But for students who have more capabilities, the 40 credits can also be completed within two semesters. The following is a list of subjects in the UGM Physics Master program.

Acceptance of new students in the UGM Physics Master program is conducted in both semesters, odd semester (August – January) and even semester (February – July). The UGM Physics Master Program can accept students with previous educational backgrounds from Bachelor of Physics and Physics Education.  The program also accept prospective students with a Bachelor’s educational background from fields close to physics such as from Geophysics, Astronomy, Engineering Physics, Instrumentation Electronics and other branches of engineering or science. Chemistry Master Program

MASTER OF CHEMISTRY

 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The Master of Chemistry Study Program is an academic-oriented education that was established in 1981. Graduates of the Chemistry Masters program receive the M.Sc. (Master of Science) degree. Academic activities in the Chemistry Masters Study Program, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UGM, are focused on increasing mastery of chemistry, both theoretical and experimental based on 5 study interests. Academically, in 1981-1985 the Study Program managed one study interest, namely the chemical studies interests. With the development of internal capabilities (human resources, facilities and infrastructure) and the increasing number of prospective students interested in attending more specific education and labor market demands, the type of study interest in this study program develops into five study interests, namely: Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Environmental Chemistry. The five study interests give variety and specificity to the Thesis outcomes and the competencies of the Chemistry Masters Program graduates. The goal of learning outcomes in the Chemistry Masters Study Program is to provide opportunities for students to have competence in terms of knowledge, understanding, and skills in the field of chemistry at the Masters level, as well as the quality and other required attributes.

 

EXCELLENCE AND UNIQUENESS

The featured academic programs in Chemistry Masters Program include:

  • Green Chemistry Character-based Curriculum Model

The Chemistry Masters Study Program organizes graduate character traits, having knowledgeability, capability, and academic skills based on Green Chemistry or Chemical Sustainability. The character-forming courses include compulsory subject, namely Sustainability in Chemistry, and elective courses (Environmental Biogeochemistry, Industrial and Environmental Analysis, Environmental Management Systems, Environmental Chemodynamics, Chemical Toxicology and Chemical Aspects in Ecology).

 

Student soft-skills are also enriched through Academic English and Advanced Research Methodology courses that provide academic provision as graduates with excellent communication character in English as well as having in-depth research insights. Pedagogical insights are also provided through the Cognitive Development Psychology course from the Faculty of Psychology UGM.

 

  • Academic Program with International Exposure

Through collaboration with the Hokkaido University, Japan since 2010, the UGM Master of Chemistry Study Program actively provides opportunities for students to conduct research and lectures at Hokkaido University through the PARE (Populations-Activities-Resources-Environments) program in a short-term or long-term visit. Each year, the Master of Chemistry Study Program also hosts the implementation of Learning Satellite with Hokkaido University with a focus on exploration of water environment field studies. The program involves Hokkaido University and UGM students.

 

The UGM Master of Chemistry Study Program is hosting the 2019 PARE Spring School as a consequence of being a part of the PARE consortium. For 2 weeks, UGM Chemistry Masters students and Postgraduate students from Hokkaido University, ITB, IPB, Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Mahidol University, and Kasetsart University carry out lectures, field practice, and presentation examinations from a series of activities while being in the field (https://pare.oia.hokudai.ac.jp/en/springschool_2019).

 

The pioneering partnership (2019) with Hiroshima University through the Japan Sakura Program offers a 10-day international exposure (lectures and mini-research) for UGM Master of Chemistry students.

 

  • International-Class Research

The UGM Master of Chemistry Study Program has been equipped with a Research Laboratory located on the 1st Floor of the UGM Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Magister and Doctorate (S2/S3) Building which is equipped with standard preparation and synthesis tools, ovens, furnaces, shakers, analytical balance, and UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Research facilities at the Department of Chemistry located in the Laboratory of Interest (Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry) can also be used by all UGM Chemistry Magister students.

 

The Department of Chemistry is also equipped with microscope (TEM) and diffraction (XRD) facilities for the purposes of sophisticated material analysis. Access to sophisticated preparation instruments (electro-spinning and spin-coater machines) and up-to-date characterization instruments (SEM, fluorescence spectroscopy, NMR, TG / DTA, NMR 500 MHz) are also available through UGM integrated laboratory facilities (LPPT, PAU Food and Nutrition, etc.). These facilities enable international class research. The ongoing WCP-A and WCP-B programs, obtained by a number of Lecturer staff, encourage collaboration for international-class research publications in reputable Q1 and Q2 international journals.

 

COMPETENCE

The learning outcomes of the program (PLO) study consist of four objectives, namely (1) Attitudes and Values, (2) Knowledge Mastery, (3) Work Ability, and (4) Managerial Ability.

Graduates of the Chemistry Masters Program can work, among others, as:

CURRICULUM

In achieving the vision and mission of the Chemistry Study Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UGM, academic activities are focused on increasing the mastery of chemistry, both theoretical and experimental. The UGM Chemistry Masters Program, according to 2017 curriculum can be completed in 3 to 4 semesters, assuming, research/final project is carried out in 1 to 2 semesters. The minimum number of credits to be completed is 42 credits, a maximum of 50 credits, with a minimum cumulative achievement index (GPA) of 3.00; including 20 credits of compulsory courses, 8 to 14 credits of suggested elective courses related to study interest skills and completing a minimum of 8 credits and a maximum of 22 credits of elective expertise courses. Elective courses can be taken partly or entirely from elective courses provided in related Study Interests, plus a maximum of 6 credits taken from other Study Interests within the Chemistry Study program.

General Description

The Undergraduate Program in Computer Science (UP-CS) was established in 1987. The UP-CS commits to provide students with education of the highest possible quality. The program offers overseas as well as Indonesian students the opportunity to study and obtain their bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with international standard and excellent curriculum.

  • UP-CS is a 4-year program; however, a lot of students are able to finish their study in less than 4 year.

    • Even semester: February – July; lecture time: February – June.

STATISTICS STUDY PROGRAM

 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Statistics Study Program (PS Statistics) was established in 1987 and is an educational institution that organizes undergraduate education.

PS Statistics has a vision in line with UGM’s vision of making PS Statistics nationally superior and known at the international level and creating graduates who are competent and full of service to the interests of the nation. To accomplish the vision above, PS Statistics has a mission which is essentially to carry out the tri dharma of higher education with a professional management system, credible, transparent, accountable and responsible governance, and to make efforts for the sustainability of PS Statistics through cooperation in the fields of education, statistical science, applied research, community service and partnerships at the local, national and international levels.

 

EXCELLENCE AND UNIQUENESS

  • Accredited A by BAN-PT, valid until the year 2024
  • Accredited by ASIIN, valid until the year of 2023
  • Some PS Statistics courses are able to be used to obtain PAI level ASAI (Associate of Society of Actuaries of Indonesia) certification

Mathematics Undergraduate Program

Brief information of the Undergraduate Programme of Mathematics

 

The Undergraduate Programme of Mathematics at Universitas Gadjah Mada (in short: UP-Math) was officially established based on the letter of decision of Ministry of Education and Culture Republic Indonesia No. 53759/Kab, 19 September 1955, as the first programme at The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (in short: FMNS). The UP-Math is in the coordination of the Department of Mathematics. The department has three undergraduate study programmes (Mathematics Study Programme, Statistics Study Programme, and Actuarial Science Study Programme), one master programme in Mathematics, and one doctoral programme in Mathematics. There are six research groups (Laboratoriums) at the department: Algebra, Analysis, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Computation, Statistics, and Statistics Computation.

 

In running the programme, the UP-Math has formulated the programme objectives, the Expected Learning Outcomes (the ELOs), the curriculum, and the method of assessment to evaluate the achievement of the ELOs. The formulation has referred to Regulation of Ministry of Education and Cultures Republic of Indonesia no. 44/2015 on Higher Education National Standard, the recommendation by CUPM, IndoMS, the SIAM Report on Mathematics in Industry 2012, Decree of the Ministry of National Education No. 232/U/2000 and 045/U/2002, the suggestions given by alumni and stakeholders, the benchmarking results from some undergraduate programmes in mathematics universities abroad and some undergraduate programmes of Indonesian universities, national accreditation of higher education (BAN PT) document, AUN document, and ASIIN (Accreditation Board in Europe) document.

 

The existing curriculum is Curriculum 2016. It is designed for 8 semesters. To complete the programme, students have to pass at least 144 credits with minimal GPA 2.00 and the maximal total number of credits with grade D is 25%. The UP-Math follows the schemes of the university for the entrance selection of the students (http://um.ugm.ac.id/v.2015/id_home.php?d=depan). For foreigners, application for the international students is provided at http://um.ugm.ac.id/v.2015.2/foreign/idx.php.

  • Internationally accredited since 2018 by ASIIN (Accreditation Agency for Degree Programs in Engineering, Computer Science, the Natural Sciences and Mathematics) Germany.
  • Accredited A (excellence) by BAN PT (Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi) since 1998.
  • Professional faculty members which more than 80% are holding doctoral degrees, graduated from UGM, ITB, and from several universities abroad (Austria, USA, The Netherland, Singapore, Germany, Finland).

 Considering the universality of mathematics, profession/graduate employment quite diverses. In general, the Graduate Profile of UP-Math is expected to work as:

Based on alumni trace in the year 2018 (from alumni of the year 2012 – 2018), it is known that the alumni work in the field of:

Curriculum

 UP-Math is a 4-year program; however, some students are able to finish their study in less than 4 year.

  • The total number of credits is 144 credits, which is equivalent to 240 ECTS.
  • Each year is divided into 2 semesters:
    • Odd semester: August – January; lecture time: August – December.
    • Even semester: February – July; lecture time: February – June.

Moreover, it is also possible for students to take courses maximum 9 credits from other

study programmes/departments/faculties in Universitas Gadjah Mada.

We also adopt credit transfer system with another universities in Indonesia and abroad.

Tuition fee

 Due to Single Tuition Fee Leveling, it may vary from IDR 500,000/semester (1st Level of Single Tuition Fee) up to IDR 11,000,000/semester (8th Level of Single Tuition Fee). Students under a certain condition are also possibly free from tuition fee. Some scholarships (from the government or industries) are also offered for students.

Geophysic Undergraduate Program

Undergraduate Program in Geophysics

 

Brief Description

Geophysics Study Program (PSG) that was established since 1985 (after previously a preferential study path in Physics Study Program in 1974), is one of the study programs that prepares bachelor study graduates in the field of geology.

 

Excellence and Distinctions

  • PSG has consecutively obtained “A” BANPT accreditation and recently for the academic period of 2019-2024.
  • PSG has also obtained AUN certification that meets Asian level education standards in 2016.

To obey (uphold) the norms, values, morals, religion, general ethics and professional ethics, adaptive, able to adjust rapidly to the environment, both in the office and in the field, equipped with work ethos, execute the best performance in every activity in alignment with the movement of global sustainable development (hamemayu hayuning bawono langgeng), and display professional behaviour (G1)

To be able to carry out scientific steps in data acquisition, data processing, and data interpretation in order to explore natural resources for energy (e.g. oil and gas, coal, geothermal) and mineral commodities (e.g., iron, copper, gold, silver, tin) as well as groundwater through geophysical method, and also able to manage a geophysical survey (G4). To be able to do geophysical interpretation which is a solution to inverse problems + probabilities + integrated with ambiguity, carry out interpretations by making models and / or solving simple inverse problems as well as skilled in computer operations to be used both for the purpose of solving geophysical problems as well as communication and internet access (G5)
