RESEARCH AT FMIPA UGM
Research that moves from fundamental questions to public value.
Research at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences brings together mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, electronics, instrumentation, statistics, and related fields to investigate fundamental questions and respond to practical challenges.
Proposal development, internal review, funding awareness, cross-disciplinary collaboration, strategic roadmaps, and research communication form a continuous support system for lecturers, researchers, and students.
01
Depth, connection, and disciplined execution.
The faculty links disciplinary expertise with proposal development, internal review, funding guidance, collaboration, and research communication, giving each project a clearer route from conception to contribution.

PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT
Research Proposal Studio
A strong proposal is not only a well-written document. It needs a clear research framework, evidence of continuity, and alignment with a research roadmap.
The faculty provides access to guidance material and can facilitate substance review by internal reviewers for members of the FMIPA academic community.
Strong research framework
Define the problem, objectives, methods, expected contribution, and a logical route from question to result.
Roadmap alignment
Show how the proposal continues an established research direction rather than standing as an isolated activity.
Track-record evidence
Connect the proposed work with prior publications, expertise, and relevant research experience.
Internal substance review
Use faculty reviewers to test clarity, feasibility, relevance, and alignment before formal submission.

HISTORICAL FUNDING NOTICE
Research & Community Service Call
The Directorate General of Higher Education opened proposal submissions under two community-service funding schemes:
Community Partnership Program (PKM)
A funding route for structured partnerships that apply academic expertise to community needs.
Community Partnership Stimulus Program (PKMS)
A stimulus scheme designed to initiate focused community partnerships with practical outcomes.
Archive notice: The submission period ran from January 25 to February 9, 2022. The schedule is retained for historical reference and is not an active call.
