Double Degree Program FMIPA UGM-Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Kanazawa University Japan 2019

Diumumkan bagi calon mahasiswa S2/Magister Prodi Fisika, Prodi Matematika, Prodi Kimia, dan Prodi Ilmu Komputer UGM, mengenai dibukanya Program Gelar Ganda (Double Degree Program – DDP) antara FMIPA UGM dan Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Kanazawa University Japan.

Mahasiswa yang dapat mengikuti program ini adalah Mahasiswa S2 dari Prodi Fisika, Prodi Matematika, Prodi Kimia, dan Prodi Ilmu Komputer UGM Angkatan 2019 yang sudah dinyatakan diterima oleh Direktorat Administrasi Akademik (DAA) UGM. Program Gelar Ganda ini adalah program dalam bidang Master dalam bidang Sains Komputasi. Setelah menyelesaikan program, mahasiswa akan mendapatkan dua ijazah sekaligus, yaitu ijazah S2 dari UGM dan Master of Computational Science dari Kanazawa University Japan.

Program DDP ini berlangsung selama dua tahun perkuliahan (termasuk penyelesaian tesis) dengan setahun perkuliahan di FMIPA UGM dan setahun berikutnya di Kanazawa University Japan. Tersedia beasiswa dengan jumlah terbatas bagi mahasiswa yang memenuhi syarat. Beasiswa DDP ini ditujukan kepada mahasiswa S2 FMIPA UGM yang mana masuknya melaui jalur pembiayaan mandiri sehingga memberikan kesempatan untuk memperoleh beasiswa dan studi ke luar negeri (Jepang).

Pengumuman Lolos Berkas : 26 Juli 2019 (Jam 17.00 WIB)

1) The University of Tokyo Research Internship Program (UTRIP)
2017 Online Application period: from 6^th January to 2^nd February.

UTRIP is a 6-week summer internship program for students majoring in natural science and other relevant fields. It provides students with an opportunity to gain the experience of “real graduate-school life” or “research-centered life.” UTRIP is a gateway to pursuing an advanced degree and experiencing academic life at our university. Participants on UTRIP will also be granted financial support to cover their costs and expenses. They will also get the opportunity to take part in cultural activities and excursions to learn more about Japan.

2) The Global Science Course (GSC)

2017 Online Application Period: From 10^th January to 7^th April 7.

GSC is an undergraduate transfer program that was designed to enhance cross-cultural interactions among young minds and foster the next generation of leaders in science. Students study alongside current UTokyo students in an all-English and research-focused academic environment, which includes rotations in world-renowned laboratories. Successful applicants to this program are also provided a monthly scholarship alongside fully supported accommodation.
